Founder: Abrar Bashar

Assalamu Alaykum, My name is Abrar Bashar, and I am the founder of IQRA Foundation. I’ve always had the dream since I was young of starting an initiative where I can help people around the world through my own efforts. Being able to finally create an organization where I can do that has been a huge blessing, and I look forward to helping as many people as we can. Education is such a valuable tool that opens the door to endless opportunities, and I believe everyone deserves access to such resources. Here at IQRA Foundation, we’re made up of dedicated students who hope to make an impact in the world and in people’s lives.

Ahmed Bedri: My name is Ahmed Bedri, I’m currently a senior living in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I enjoy playing sports, games, and spending time with my family, and I look forward to making a difference in the community with IQRA.

Taha Alam: Salaam, my name is Taha Alam, and I’m a senior at BHA. I really love community service and hope to serve through IQRA Foundation.

Ali: Salam, I am a 15-year-old who is very passionate about volunteering and helping others. I love playing soccer and staying active. I’m always eager to meet new people and take part in projects that make a difference.

Zahid: Salam, I’m a BHA student who has a passion for business and finance. I enjoy learning how markets, and I’m very interested in how the economy works.

Yusuf Naviwala: Yusuf Naviwala is a student who lives in Atlanta, Georgia. He works with several nonprofits and has a background in leadership.

Ahmed Sajjad: Salam, my name is Ahmed Sajjad, and I’m a current Junior. I have a huge passion for photography and enjoy going to the theatre. I wish to make a positive impact with this organisation as much as I can.

Omer Shakoor: Salaam, my name is Omer Shakoor. I love coffee and motorcycles. I’m excited to work with this team and help as many people as I can.

Youssef Abdel-Kader: Salam, my name is Youssef, and my passion is to go into the medical field one day. Some of my hobbies include jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai.

Abdur-Rahman Hayee: My name is Abdur-Rahman Hayee, and I was born in San Antonio. I love cars, sports, and photography.

Hashem Atassi: My name is Hashem Atassi, and I go to Brighter Horizons Academy. I am 16 years old and want to be part of a good cause.

Ryan Husseini: Salam, I am a student at BHA, and I love teaching and helping students learn. I want to be a part of a good cause with Iqra Foundation.

Yousef Nafal: Salam, I'm a Sophomore at BHA, and I have an interest in entrepreneurship and wish in the future to become an engineer with the vision and objective to advance our capabilities and succeed in this project inshallah.

Fares Tashtoush: SALAM I'm a person with a very creative mind and I want to make the world a better place. I’m interested in business and I am sure I can make this project better and successful.

Daanya Maqbool: I’m Daanya, and I’m passionate about making a difference through community service for those in need. In my free time, I like to read, write, and play the piano.

Noor Hussein: Salam! My name is Noor, and I’m super excited to be working with IQRA! I’m sixteen and enjoy reading and baking!

Zeina Elhamadany: Salam! My name is Zeina, and I’m a junior in high school! I’m 16, and I absolutely love crocheting, arts and crafts, and reading! I can’t wait to work with Iqra Foundation.

Lama Zalloum: Salam y'all! My name is Lama Zalloum and I can't wait to make a difference through our foundation. On the side, I enjoy singing, baking, TV, and playing games.
